O R D E R
This Contempt Petition has been filed complaining wilful disobedience of the order dated 09.12.2021 in W.P.No.24964 of 2021 by the respondents. Wherein, this Court directed to include the name of the petitioner in the serial number above K.Amsaveni (fifth respondent herein) who is immediate junior to the petitioner, in the panel of Assistants drawn for the year 2019 and grant her promotion with all attendant and monetary benefits. The Court further directed the respondents 1 to 4 to pass appropriate orders in that regard within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. 2.
The second respondent has filed an affidavit, wherein it is stated that against the order dated 09.12.2021, in W.P. No.24964 of 2021, the respondents preferred a writ appeal in W.A.No.2651 of 2022 and the same was dismissed on 09.12.2022. Aggrieved by the same, the 2/6
respondents had filed SLP in Diary No.22761 of 2023 on 26.05.2023 before the Hon'ble Apex Court.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submit that the petitioner has been included in the panel of Assistants for the year 2022 and she was promoted and posted as Assistant in the office of Special Tahsildar, Adi-Dravidar Welfare Office, Chengam Taluk and she joined on the Forenoon of 19.10.2022. Learned counsel further submits that necessary orders have also been issued by the District Revenue Officer, Tiruvannamalai in accordance with the above order. The Additional chief Secretary / Commissioner of Revenue Administration, Chennai has instructed vide letter No.Ser.4(4)/44936/2021 dated 05.06.2023 to include the name of the petitioner in the panel of Assistants for the year 2019 and to grant her promotion with all attendant and monetary benefits, subject to the outcome of the SLP.
Accordingly, the District Revenue Officer, Tiruvannamali vide Notification No.A2/65951/2021 dated 05.06.2023 has included the name of the petitioner above the name of Mrs.K.Amsaveni in the Assistant Panel 2019. The District Revenue Officer also issued proceedings dated 05.06.
subject to the result of the SLP.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submit that the order has been complied with. Learned counsel further submits that in the affidavit filed by the respondents, they tendered unconditional apology for the delay caused in implementing the order of this Court in true letter and spirit.

Learned counsel for the petitioner also accepted that the District Revenue Officer has issued proceedings dated 05.06.2023 in compliance of the order passed by this Court. 6.
Having heard the submissions of the respective counsels and upon careful examination of the affidavits filed by the respondents, in my considered opinion, though there is a delay in complaining the order of this Court, this Court satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit to accept the unconditional apology tendered by the respondents, as it is bonafide.

Under these circumstances, no further adjudication is required in this contempt petition. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed.
