This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the complaint filed by the respondent under Sections 5 and 8 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act 2003 (Tamil Nadu Act No.38 of 2003) in O.P.No.54 of 2014 on the file of the IX Asst City Civil Court, Chennai.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for the respondent have submitted that the matter has been settled between the parties.
