When the Contempt Petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.M.Elumalai, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the respondents have complied with the orders passed in the Writ Petition.

2.After getting instructions from the members of the petitioner Association, Mr.C.R.Prasanan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondents have issue patta to 31 individuals and in the event of similarly placed members of the Association applying for patta, the same may also be considered by the respondents. 3.It is needless to say that in the event of similarly placed individuals, who are members of the petitioner Association, apply for issuance of patta, the same should be considered by the Tahsildar, Coimbatore, on merits and Page 2/3

in accordance with law.
