(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.V.P.Murugan, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader, for the respondent No.1, Mr.R.Shanmugasundaram, learned Advocate

General for respondents 2 and 3 and Mr.Rajesh Vivekananthan, learned Deputy Solicitor General for respondent No.4.

2. The limited prayer of the petitioner is to decide the representation dated 12.06.2023.

3. In case, the representation of the petitioner is pending with respondent No.3, then respondent No.3 shall take decision upon it on its own merit and in accordance with law and policy, preferably within six months.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
