ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II at Puducherry, to dispose of the case in C.C.No.284 of 2011 within the time frame as stipulated by this Court.

2. Mr.R.Jayaprakash, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a senior citizen. The petitioner has filed a private complaint against the respondent in C.C.No.284 of 2011 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Puducherry. The trial in the said case was completed and the case was posted for hearing of sentence on 22.03.2018. Thereafter, there is no progress in the case. 3.In view of the above, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Puducherry is directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.284 of 2011 within a period of one month from the next hearing i.e., 17.03.2022.
