This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioners, who are seeking for patta with regard to the subject property.

The case of the petitioners is that the property originally belonged to their father and he executed a registered settlement deed dated 24.06.2013 in favour of the petitioners. The petitioners have thereafter applied for patta through their representation dated 22.07.2017 and since the same did not evoke any response from the respondent, the present writ petition has been filed seeking for appropriate directions. 3.

Heard Mr.R.Venkatesulu, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners and Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent. 1/2 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 22.07.2017 and deal with the same strictly in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioners are directed to make a fresh representation to the respondent along with a copy of the representation dated 22.07.2017 and a copy of this order.

Resultantly, this writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
