PRAYER:
This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner for the property in S/F No. 437/2A2, No. 22, Nanjundapuram Village, Chinnathadagam Post, Coimbatore, measuring an extent of 0.03.5 Hectares (8.64 Cents) based on the application dated 04.02.2008.

ORDER
In pursuance to the sale deed in favour of the petitioner's father dated 17.01.1962, followed by the partition deed in favour of the petitioner dated 13.12.1976, an application was made by the petitioner on 04.02.2008 to the respondent No. 2, seeking for issuance of separate patta. According to the petitioner, though an enquiry has been initiated and proceeded with, no final action is taken till now. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition before this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondent Nos. 1 to 3.

Considering the submissions made in this regard and without going into the merits of the case, the respondent No. 2 is directed to pass final orders on the application of the petitioner dated 04.02.2008 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as other persons in whose names joint patta stands as of now. The petitioner is also directed to send fresh copy of the application dated 04.02.2008 to the respondent No. 2, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after enclosing the present order passed by this Court.
4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
