The Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to receive the application of the petitioner dated 27.05.2024 in Form CCPA and the prescribed fee through online for the grant of a Auto Rickshaw Permit to operate the vehicle within radius of 30 K.M. Distance from Salem Town Old Bus Stand, Salem.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3. In the very same issue in the Writ Petition in W.P.No.18034 of 2020 dated 11.12.2020, this Court after considering the facts and circumstances of the case has issued direction to the concerned Regional Transport Officer.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent to receive the application of the petitioner dated 27.05.2024 in Form CCPA along with the prescribed fee for grant of Auto Rickshaw Permit and consider the same on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
