Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to issue direction to the 1st respondent police calling upon the respondents 2 to 5 to conduct enquiry on the basis of the complaint lodged by the 2nd respondent not to harassing the petitioner in the guise of enquiry.

It is represented by the Additional Public Prosecutor that the complaint lodged by the second respondent in C.No.275 of 2020 dated 30.09.2020 is pending for enquiry and the petitioner's presence is required for concluding the enquiry at the earliest.

2. Counsel for the petitioner represents that he has already appeared before the respondent police and also ready to cooperate with the respondent police and appear before him for concluding the enquiry.

3. Taking into account the abovesaid factors, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police on 15.12.2020 for concluding the enquiry and the respondent police is also directed to conclude the enquiry expeditiously.

4. With the abovesaid directions, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
