ORDER

The prayer made in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to regularize the service of the petitioner in the post of cook in Time Scale of Pay from the date of her initial entry i.e. 27.10.1995 with all consequential benefits.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the case of a similarly placed person was already considered and her service was regularised from the date of entry into service, by order of this Court dated 29.07.2013 in W.P.No.20604 of 2013. Hence, the learned counsel sought to extend the same benefits to this petitioner as well.

3. On the other hand, the learned counsel for the respondents fairly submitted that the respondents would consider the representation of the petitioner in the light of the aforesaid order and pass orders on merits within a reasonable time to be fixed by this Court.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.12.2013, if not already considered and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law and also in the light of the aforesaid order of this Court dated 29.07.2013 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
