Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the order of the 1st respondent proceedings made in No. PC-V/2003/1/6/2 dated 03.01.2006 and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to extend grant of two advance increments on par with their juniors forthwith, more specifically on par with Shri K.R. Ramamurthy working in Palakkad Division.

The petitioner has filed this petition seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
to the order of the first respondent's proceedings in No.PCV/2003/1/6/2 dated 03.01.2006 and to quash the same and to consequently direct the respondents to extend grant of two advance increments on par with their juniors forthwith, more specifically on par with Shri K.R.Ramamurthy working in Palakkad Division.
2.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous as the relief has been granted in favour of the petitioners by stepping up their pay on par with their juniors as per Railway Board's Letter No.PC-V/2003/1/6/2 dated 04.02.2010 (RBE No.27/2010). To this effect, the learned Standing Counsel has also produced a copy of the letter of the Office of the Principal Chief Security Commissioner addressed to him dated 16.07.2018.
3.In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
