2. This writ petition is filed seeking mandamus directing the 4th respondent to release the JCB bearing registration TN20-BY-0500 bearing chassis number : 001367781 and engine number : 4H22710821672 to the petitioner.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner. However, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the prayer has become infructuous in view of the fact that the petitioner has obtained the vehicle by filing a petition before the Criminal Court.

4. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous. No costs.
