ORDER

Seeking a direction to the the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur to expedite the trial as early as possible in the case in C.C. No.163 of 2012 on his file, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents' police.

3.It is seen that originally, a final report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Poonamallee and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.69 of 2005. After bifurcation and creation of Alandur Court, the case was transferred to Alandur Court and renumbered as C.C.No.163 of 2012. Since till date, there is no progress in the case and the case is of the year 2005, this Court in the interest of justice, issues a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur to complete the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

trial in C.C.No.163 of 2012 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
