This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider my representation for grant of lease of a place inside the Government Peripheral Hospital, Periyar Nagar, Chennai - 600 082, in Fort Tondiarpet Taluk, Chennai to run a Tea Stall.

ORDER

The petitioner was running a tea stall for three years till 21.12.2014. Thereafter, the license given to the petitioner was renewed in view of the decision taken to create canteens. The said Government order was also put into challenge and got in abeyance by the order of this Court. Now, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking for considering his pending request dated 02.11.2015 for permission to run the tea stall.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

3. Considering the similar scope of prayer sought for in the writ petition and without going into the merits of the case, the respondent No. 1 is directed to pass appropriate orders on the pending representation of the petitioner dated 02.11.2015, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
