ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.79 of 2015 to some other Investigating Agency such as CBCID or Central Crime Branch, Chennai or any other independent investigating agency for proper and necessary action.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 3.The allegation of the complainant is that a 12 year boy who went to school on 10.01.2015 did not return from school and therefore, he lodged a complaint for which Cr.No.79 of 2015, "boy missing" case was registered by the police. During the course of enquiry, police fished out the body of the boy from Nanmangalam Lake. An inquest was conducted and investigation is in progress. It is the case of the petitioner that earlier his boy was threatened by three persons in the year 2012 and he suspects the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

involvement of those persons in this case. Considering the serious nature of allegations, this Court in the interest of justice, directs the second respondent to transfer the case from the Sub Inspector of Police, S-10, Pallikaranai Police Station to the Inspector of Police of the same Police Station and further, a direction is issued to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Chennai to personally monitor the investigation and act in accordance with law.

4.With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
