O R D E R

The present Contempt Petition has been filed by petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order of this Court passed in W.P.No.8556 of 2009 dated 27.11.2013, in which this Court directed as follows: " In view of such circumstances, I am of the view that the punishment awarded by the authority to the petitioner is grave in nature and it has to be modified. Accordingly, the punishment awarded by the authority is modified as "one year increment cut without cumulative effect". If at all any amount is recovered over and above, the same shall be returned to the petitioner within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order"

2. Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Today, when the Contempt Petition is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that subsequent to the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.8556 of 2009 the respondents have filed writ appeal against the order of this Court in W.A.No.180 of 2015 and the same was allowed by the Division Bench of this Court.

4. In view of the order passed by the Division Bench of this Court in W.A.No.180 of 2015 the contempt petition is dismissed. No costs.
