report of the 2nd respondent and consequent impugned order passed by the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.No.687/2007/A3 dated 02.09.2008 for removal of the petitioner from the post of Panchayat President, Sathyamangalam Panchayat, Papanasam Panchayat Union Tanjore District and set aside the same as illegal, arbitrary and consequently directing the 2nd and 5th respondent to consider the explanation dated 18.02.2008 of the petitioner in accordance to law.

When the case was listed for hearing on 27.07.2018, there was no representation on behalf of the writ petitioner. Hence, the writ petition was directed to be posted under the caption "for dismissal" today i.e., on 31.07.2018. Today also, when the matter was called none appeared on behalf of the writ petitioner in the morning and hence the matter was passed over to 2.15 pm., Even at 2.15 pm., there was no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, the writ petition stands dismissed for non prosecution.

No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
