ORDER
(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences publishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(A) of NDPS Act in Cr. No.875 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 5.500 kgs of Ganja oil. Hence, the complaint.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Therefore, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 5.500 kgs of Ganja oil . Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
5. Considering the facts of the case and the submissions made by the learned additional public prosecutor, this Court is not https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed.
