Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the respondent under section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act 1971 for willful disobedience of the order passed in Crl.O.P.No.2331 of 2021 on 10.02.2021.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to punish the respondent herein for the willful disobedience of the order passed in Crl.O.P.No.2331 of 2021 dated 10.02.2021. 2.Ms.G.G.Prasith Deepa, Inspector of Police and Mr.K.Nandagopal, Special Sub Inspecor, CCB Team-37, EDF II are present before this Court today.

3.The learned Government Counsel submitted a copy of the final report filed before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate Court dealing with CCB and CBCID Cases, Egmore. It is seen from the final report that there are totally six accused persons in this case and out of the same, three of the accused persons are absconding. The final report has been filed for the offences under Sections 406, 409 and 420 r/w 34 IPC. The learned Government Counsel submitted that the final report is yet to be taken on file.

4.In view of the above development, there shall be a direction to the learned Metropolitan Magistrate Court dealing with CCB and CBCID Cases, Egmore to act upon the final report, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
