2. The case of the petitioner is that she was appointed as substitute sweeper in the second respondent's corporation on 01.11.1992, through District Employment Office at Thanjavur. The second respondent had published the sanitary workers seniority list through Na.Ka.No.739/88 H-I dated 15.08.1994 in which she was placed in Serial No.615. As per G.O.1644 Rural Development and Local Administration Department dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

12.10.1979, the second respondent has regularised the services of the sanitary workers. However, the petitioner was not regularised and therefore she made a representation to the respondents on 02.01.2015. Since, she was not considered the present Writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.R.Sethuvarayar learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for in this writ petition, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 02.01.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner.
