ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner in the name of enquiry.

2. Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. It is also seen that the petitioner has been called for an enquiry with regard to the property dispute. The petitioner has filed a suit before the learned VIII Assistant Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai and the same is pending.

4. In the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to conduct an enquiry and take further action in accordance with law. It is made clear that if the second respondent finds that it is a property dispute, the second respondent police shall relegate the parties to approach the appropriate Civil Court.
