Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of certiorarified mandamus, calling for the records of the 1st Respondent with respect to the impugned letter dated 02.02.2015 bearing reference D-II/SICH/II/ IPL/146/2012 and quash the same as illegal and forbear the 1st and 2nd Respondents from interfering with the industrial activities of the Petitioner and the 3rd Respondent in the lands located at Plot No.46 to 49 and 76 admeasuring 15.34 acres allotted to the Petitioner except in accordance with law. For Petitioner : Mr.Krishna Srinivas M/s.S.Ramasubramaniam Asso.

In this writ petition, challenge is made to the show cause notice dated 02.02.2015, issued by the 1st respondent.

2. Mr.Krishna Srinivas, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the SIPCOT vide letter No.DII/SICH.II/IPL/46/2012 dated 06.05.2015, has informed the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner that they are withdrawing the show cause notice dated 02.02.2015 and grant extension of time upto April 2016 to commence construction of the project subject to withdrawal of the writ petition filed by the petitioner and that further extension of time may be considered for implementation of the project, after ascertaining the progress made till April 2016. It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that in the light of the said development, nothing survives for adjudication.

3. This Court heard the submissions of Mrs.Sudharshana Sundar, learned counsel appearing of the 1st respondent.

4. In the light of said development, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition, as on today. Therefore, the writ petition is closed. If the petitioner is aggrieved by any further act on the part of SIPCOT, it is always at liberty to work out its remedy in accordance with law. The letter No.DII/SICH/II/IPL/46/2012 dated 06.05.2015, passed by the 1st respondent, shall form part of the record. No costs.

Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
