Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to Direct the 1st Respondent to consider the Petitioner for promotion as Executive Engineer from 23.03.1999 with all consequential and monetary benefits from the said date till his date of his retirement on 31.10.2002 (in WMP.No.17382/2019) WP.No.17943/2019 and ; (ii) To grant an Interim Stay of the order passed by the Secretary to Government MAWS Department in Letter No. 25961/MC.5/2012-2019,MAWS Department dated 18.07.2018 (in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

WMP.No.17351/2019) pending disposal of the above WP.No.17943/2019 respectively.

Order : These petitions coming on for orders upon perusing the petitions and the respective affidavits filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.L.CHANDRAKUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner in both the petitions the court made the following order:- The matter relates to promotion to the post of Executive Engineer and the petitioner retired. Hence the stay application and direction application cannot be entertained.

2. Accordingly, the stay application and direction application are dismissed.
