Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to conduct an enquiry and dispose the petitioner's representation dated 21.09.2015 with in time limit stipulated by this Court.

By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to conduct an enquiry and dispose the petitioners representation dated 21.09.2015,

3. The case of the petitioner is that the respondents called for applications for the appointment of Village Assistant. The petitioner has applied for the post and he also received the call letter dated 27.02.2015 from the 3rd respondent. However, thereafter, the respondents have appointed 4th respondent, who is over aged and therefore, he sent the representation to the 1st respondent on 21.09.2015 to conduct enquiry and pass appropriate orders. Since it was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard Mr.R.Subburaj learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.L.Mahendran, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. This Court considering the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the 1st respondent to conduct an enquiry and dispose the petitioner's representation dated 21.09.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving opportunity to the fourth respondent and communicate the decision to the petitioner.
