Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.08.2021 to remove the encroachments and to take necessary legal action against encroachers where the land situated at Dhandumari Amman Kovil Street, Acharavakkam Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Chengalpattu District in Survey No.87/9 situated at Dhandumari Amman Koil Street, Acharavakkam village, Thiruporur Taluk, Chengalpattu District within the time prescribed by this Court.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J) This Writ Petition is filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.08.2021 to remove the encroachments and to take necessary legal action against the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

encroachers where the land situated in Survey No.87/9 at Dhandumari Amman Koil Street, Acharavakkam village, Thiruporur Taluk, Chengalpattu District within the time prescribed by this Court.

2.Perusal of the records show that the petitioner made a representation on 19.08.2021 and filed this writ petition on 24.08.2021 without giving sufficient time to the authorities to take action. It is well settled law that before filing a writ petition of Writ of Mandamus, the petitioner has to give proper representation and provide sufficient time to the authorities to act on his representation.

3.Since this writ petition has been filed within a week of giving the representation, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
