Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner representation dated 14.10.2015 and grant an approval to release the loan amount, under the scheme, of TAHDCO-EDP-TV-383 2014-2015 dated 10.01.2015.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2 The petitioner would state that he belongs to HinduAdi Dravidar Community and is maintaining a Savings Bank Account in Perambakkam Branch of Indian Overseas Bank. The petitioner would further state that he has also completed his College studies and want to run a business of hardwares. In this

regard, he was asked to attend an interview by the Tamil Nadu Adi Dravidar Housing and Development Corporation - Entrepreneur Development Programme and the said Entity also issued a letter dated 10.01.2015 and the petitioner, has in that regard, approached the 2nd respondent Bank and since no response is forthcoming, the petitioner came forward to file the present writ petition.

3 The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 14.10.2015 for approval to release the loan amount under Entrepreneur Development Scheme of Tamil Nadu Adi Dravidar Housing and Development Corporation, may be sympathetically considered, taking into consideration, the social and economic background of the petitioner.

4 Heard the submissions of Mr.K.Raajsekaran, learned counsel who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. 5 Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the 2nd respondent to give an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and thereafter consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 14.10.2015, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner. 5 The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
