O R D E R

The writ petition is filed seeking for writ of mandamus directing the respondents to include the name of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Assistant Director of Co-operative Auditor on his representation dated 23.11.2015. 2.Mr.S.Prabakar, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner joined the service of the respondents as Junior Cooperative Auditor on 20.08.1987 and subsequently promoted as Cooperative Audit Officer, his next avenue of promotion is to the post of Assistant Director of Cooperative Audit.

It is further submitted though the

petitioner is eligible to be considered for the said post, he was not considered due to pending enquiry proceedings and now he has submitted his representation to consider for promotion to the post of Assistant Director of Cooperative Audit. Since, he was not considered for considered, the petitioner filed the present writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.R.Prabakar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances, permits the petitioner to submit one more representation to the first respondent by enclosing a copy of this order and relevant records within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the first respondent shall consider the said representation on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks thereafter and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.

5.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. MP.NO.1 of 2015 is closed.
