Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of Mandamus, directing the fourth respondent to cancel house allotment made to the respondents 10 to 17 in Samathuvapuram situate at

Kadukkapatti Village in Selliyampatti Panchayat, Palacode Taluk, Dharmapuri District by considering the petitioner representation dated 02.08.2013.

ORDER

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the 4th respondent to cancel the house allotment made to the respondents 10 to 17 in Samathuvapuram, situated at Kadukkapatti Village in Selliyampatti Panchayat, Palacode Taluk, Dharmapuri District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 02.08.2013.

2. A perusal of the representation dated 02.08.2013 reveals that the petitioner has raised certain allegations regarding the allotments made in favour of the contesting respondents.

3. Allotments are to be made scrupulously in accordance with the terms and conditions stipulated by the Government. The Samathuvapuram Scheme is constituted for the welfare of the poor homeless people and therefore, the allotment is to be made strictly in accordance with the norms prescribed by the Government in the policy. Since the petitioner has raised certain allegations regarding the allotment made, more specifically in favour of the respondents 10 to 17, the fourth respondent is directed to look into the complaint and initiate appropriate actions in the manner known to law.

4. The writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
