Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent herein to issue the provisional certificate and consolidated mark sheet to the petitioner herein based upon the petitioner's representation dated 31.05.2016. For Petitioner :

ORDER

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner would claim that he had joined Engineering Course in Trichy Engineering College, Trichirappalli, in the year 2007 and thereafter, he was transferred to MNSK Engineering College, Pudukottai, with Registration No.92307144051 and he completed the academic course in the year 2011 and also completed the arrears during December 2015. He was also issued with Transfer Certificate on 11.06.2011. The petitioner had applied for his Master of Science, a Post Graduate Course, to Southeastern Louisiana University, USA, through on-line application dated 31.03.2016. But, since he is in requirement of the provisional certificate and the consolidated Mark List, he had submitted an https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

application/representation dated 31.05.2016 to the 1st respondent / University and though it was acknowledged on 02.06.2016, no orders have been passed. The petitioner also sent a reminder dated 20.06.2016 for which also, no response is forthcoming and therefore, the petitioner is constrained to approach this Court by filing the present writ petition.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned counsel who accepts notice on behalf of the 1st respondent.

This Court, taking into consideration, the facts and circumstances, directs the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 31.05.2016 and the reminder dated 20.06.2016, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
