Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the Impugned Circular No.ZD/1015/ASP/2003 dated 20.03.2013 issued by the second respondent and the impugned order No.Ref:P&IR passed by the fourth respondent dated 07.03.2014 as per clause 7(2) of LIC (Verification of date of birth of employees) amendment instructions 2003, and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondents to correct the date of birth of the petitioner in the service record as 09.11.1969 as declared in the Judgment and decree in O.S.No.711 of 1997 dated 08.02.1999 on the file of the District Munsif, Coimbatore.

When the matter was listed for hearing on 10.06.2022, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Thus, this Court passed an order, directing the Registry to list the matter on 14.06.2022 under the caption "For Dismissal".

2. When the matter was called on 14.06.2022, there was also no representation on behalf of the petitioner. In order to give one more opportunity, this Court once again passed an order, directing the Registry to list this matter under the caption "For Dismissal" on 16.06.2022.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today i.e., on 20.06.2022, none appeared for the petitioner. Thus, it is evident that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the matter. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
