ORDER

Seeking a direction to the second respondent herein viz., the Inspector of Police, E4 Abhiramapuram Police Station, Chennai to register a case on the complaint given by the petitioner herein on 03.04.2015, the petitioner has come up with this petition. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3.It appears that the petitioner belongs to AIADMK party and the rival party members have put up his poster as though he belongs to the rival party.

4.It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents that the petition enquiry conducted and closed by the respondent police on the complaint of the petitioner dated 03.04.2015 and across the Bar, a closure report has also been served to the learned counsel for the petitioner. The same is recorded.

5.In view of the above statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, nothing survives in this petition. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedies in the manner known to law.
