Today, when the matter taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the appellant and respondents appeared and submitted that before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Chennai, both the parties along with their counsels appeared and the matter was amicably settled between the parties. Accordingly, they have entered into a compromise and a settlement agreement was also executed between them.

2. Perused the Settlement Agreement. Based on the Settlement Agreement, the appellant received a sum of Rs.5,50,000/- by way of demand draft as full and final settlement. Accordingly, based on the terms and conditions entered between the parties by way of settlement agreement, this Appeal Suit is disposed of. Settlement Agreement along with terms and conditions entered by both the parties is recorded. No costs. The Settlement Agreement shall form part and parcel of the decree. 29.01.2024 rpp To I Addl. District Judge, Thiruvallur.
