ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.257 of 2025 on the file of the 1st respondent Police. 2.Now, the learned Government Counsel (Criminal Side) appearing for the 1st respondent Police, submits that, in this case, a charge sheet has been filed online on 02.12.2025 vide Ref.No.LTN20230003051 before the learned District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Pallavaram.

3.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 4.However, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the charge sheet has not been taken on file so far. Therefore, the learned District Munsif-cumJudicial Magistrate, Pallavaram, is directed to take the charge sheet on file within a period of two weeks, unless there is a deficiency memo issued seeking compliance. Otherwise, there is no justification in keeping the charge sheet pending for more than six months.
