ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner and his wife and children's life, he has come up with this petition.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 3.It is seen that petitioner was attacked by one Periyasamy and others on 06.03.2015 and in regard to the same, complaint was lodged by the petitioner. A case was registered in Cr.No.31 of 2015 for the offence under Sections 294(b), 323, 324, 427, 448, 379, 506 (ii) and 307 IPC against the proposed accused. It is also seen that proposed accused were arrested and released on bail. Now, the petitioner submitted that due to the same, he was criminally intimidated and threatened by the proposed accused. that blanket order of police protection cannot be granted. However, the petitioner is directed to lodge a complaint if threatened by the accused and the police is also directed to take steps to cancel the bail granted to those accused.

4.This Criminal Original Petition is closed with the above observation and direction.
