ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members on the basis of the complaint made by the petitioner on 22.09.2020.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner had lodged a complaint against the third respondent and the respondent Police assigned CSR.No.324 of 2020, but https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

thereafter, no action has been taken so far. Due to the in action of the respondent Police, the third respondent damaged the drinking water pipe line of the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that the petitioner and the third respondent are neighbors and there is a dispute between them and hence, the complaint. The pipe line taking drinking water to the petitioner's house got damaged is purely civil in nature, which has to be dealt by the Village Administrative Officer or Revenue Officials and the Police are not permitted to involve in those issues.

4. In view of the same, as the dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent is civil in nature, the petitioner is directed to approach the Civil Court or Revenue Officials and seek his remedy. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
