Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to register a FIR based on the petitioner's complaint to the first respondent dated 01.04.2007 and to investigate the same and take action in accordance with law.

ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent police to register the complaint preferred by the petitioner dated 01.04.2007 and to investigate the same, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3.It is seen that complaint has been lodged by the petitioner in the year 2007 and therefore, no positive direction could be given in this case. However, the petitioner is at liberty to go in person and lodge a fresh complaint along with sufficient https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

materials to the jurisdictional police station. On such complaint being lodged, the concerned police shall deal with the same and act in accordance with the law as laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].

4.The Criminal Original Petition is closed with the above directions.
