Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to call for the records connected with the F.I.R. in Crime No.915 of 2013 dated 04.09.2013 as altered on 05.09.2013 on the file of the first respondent Police, Tindivanam Police Station, Tindivanam and quash the same. ORDER

This petition has been filed to to call for the records connected with the F.I.R. in Crime No.915 of 2013 dated 04.09.2013 as altered on 05.09.2013 on the file of the first respondent Police, Tindivanam Police Station, Tindivanam and quash the same.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit earlier this Court passed an order staying all further proceedings in Cr.No.915 of 2013 and hence, the respondent Police is unable to proceed with the case.

3. It is seen there are specific allegations in the F.I.R. as such the F.I.R. in Crime No.915 of 2013 cannot be quashed on its threshold since the same is to be investigated in depth. Moreover, the complaint was registered for the offences under Section 307 I.P.C. Accordingly, this petition cannot be considered at this stage.

4. However, considering the FIR is of the year 2013, the first respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
