O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to ensure the strict adherence of the order of Status quo granted by this Court in C.M.A.No.165 of 2018 dated 04.06.2018 by providing necessary protection.

2.Heard, Mr.H.Prosper, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the respondent police registered a case in Crime No.39 of 2018 and thereafter, it has been referred to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ambattur, to conduct the enquiry. On the basis of the crime, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ambattur, initiated proceedings under Section 145 Cr.P.C and the enquiry is going on.

4.Considering the above facts and circumstances, the police protection sought for by the petitioner cannot be considered now. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to appear before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ambattur, to attend the enquiry. 5.With the above observation, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
