ORDER

The petitioner was awarded a contract by the TASMAC to transport liquor from the godown to retail vending shops.

2. The petitioner had claimed Rs.51,83,823/- in respect of services rendered under the said contract. Such payment was made on 20.02.2024. The petitioner claimed interest for belated payment by submitting representation dated 04.03.2024. By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks the expeditious disposal thereof.

3. Mr. M. Sekar, learned standing counsel, accepts notice for the respondents. He submits that the petitioner's representation would be considered and disposed of in accordance with the contract.

4. In view of the above submissions, W.P.No.16449 of 2024 is disposed of by directing the third respondent to consider and dispose of the 2/4

representation dated 04.03.2024 within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner. No costs.
