This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 06.04.2018 and to grant patta in the name of the petitioner.

Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent, on the basis of written instructions, submitted that the application made by the petitioner seeking for patta was rejected by the respondent vide proceedings dated 09.10.2018 since the property stands in the name of the Tamil Nadu Housing Board.
