ORDER

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner claims to be the owner of the lands admeasuring to an extent of 0.73.5 Hectares in S.No.530/5, 0.24.5 Hectares in S.No.342/7, 0.67.5 Hectares in S.No.344/12, 0.72.0 Hectares in S.No.347/4, 0.63.9 Hectares out of 1.52.0 Hectares in S.No.347/5 in Ammapalayam Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District, through a registered Sale Deed dated 15.06.2011 bearing Document No.3052/2011, registered on the file of the Sub Registrar, Attur, Salem. He had submitted a representation to the respondents praying for issuance of computerised patta vide application dated 06.06.2016 and though the said application was acknowledged on 07.06.2016, no orders have been passed and therefore, the petitioner came forward to file the present writ petition.

Mr.V.S.Ramesh, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the appplication/representation of the petitioner dated 06.06.2016 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
