ORDER

This Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to enable the petitioner to peacefully carry on agricultural operations, including harvesting of crops, in the petitioner's property comprised in Survey No.325, situated at Mulaiyampoondi Village, Dharapuram Taluk, Tiruppur District, based on the petitioner's complaint dated 09.03.2026 and CSR No.50 of 2026 dated 17.03.2026 on the file of the second respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 7, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition (Criminal) is disposed of. No costs.
