2. Captioned WMP has been filed under Rule 15 of 'Madras High Court Writ Rules, 2021' [hereinafter 'Writ Rules 2021' for the sake of convenience and brevity] by seven petitioners with a prayer to file a single writ petition.

3. Adverting to paragraph 6 of the support affidavit, Mr.K.A.Mariappan, learned counsel on record for writ petitioners submits that the issue involved in the writ petition and the relief sought by them is one and the same.
