Respondents PRAYER:

Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to sanction child care leave of 365 days (2.11.2015 to 31.10.2016) for medical treatment of the petitioner's child.

O R D E R

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to direct the respondents to sanction child care leave of 365 days for medical treatment of the petitioner's child and pass further orders.

2. The learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the respondents, made a submission that during the pendency of the writ petition, disciplinary proceedings were initiated against the writ petitioner and she was dismissed from service by the Commandant in proceedings dated 2.11.2017. Thus, the cause aroused for filing of the present writ petition became vanished and accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
