Respondents Prayer: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to issue a No Objection Certificate to the petitioner to run a SPA i.e. cross relation massage in the name and style of "ANGEL WELLNESS SALOON & SPA" at Shop No.B-16, 9.2, New Bus Stand West Street, Salem, Salem District, by passing orders on the petitioner's representation dated 24.05.2024.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to issue a No Objection Certificate to the petitioner to run a SPA.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has made a representation before the first respondent dated 24.05.2024. But, the first respondent has not considered the same for grant of "No Objection Certificate".

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the Commissioner of Police has given Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for considering an application to run SPA. If the representation of the petitioner fulfils the requirements as contemplated under the Standard -2-

Operating Procedure, the same will be considered in accordance with law.

4. Recording the said statement made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
