ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner, who is the mother of the detenu, seeks his production before this Court on the premise that he is in the illegal custody.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced records to show that the wife of the detenu by name Valli, who has not been arrayed as party respondent in this petition has admitted him in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the De-addiction Center. In the said place, the detenu has been taking treatment for de-addiction. A statement has also been obtained from her to that effect. The records would further show that the complaint given by the petitioner was also closed and a copy of the same has also been served on her on 17.11.2020 after duly obtaining her signature.

4.In such view of the matter, we do not find any illegal detention involved in this case and the habeas corpus petition stands closed.
