The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to give permission to conduct the cultural programme on 17.6.2018 in the event of Dharmakartha of Mariamman Koil of Sindalpadi Post, Pappireddipatti Taluk, Dharmapuri District based on the petitioner's representation dated 11.6.2018.

When the matter is called, it is represented by both sides that the prayer in the writ petition has already become infructuous for the reason that the said festival was already over.
