ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed not to harass the petitioner and his family members.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on the complaint given by one Nandan, the petitioner had been called by the respondent police unnecessarily despite the petitioner informed the respondent police that civil suit is pending between them in O.S.No.171 of 2014 and 175 of 2014 before the District Munsif Court, Tindivanam for the same issue. The petitioner has also produced all the relevant copy of the documents in support of his claim. Despite the same, the respondent is harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) would submit that earlier on the complaint of Nandan, CSR was assigned and the petitioner was summoned for enquiry and the petitioner had appeared and produced documents. On verification, it was found that the dispute between the petitioner and Nandan is Civil in nature and the respondent police advised the petitioner as well as Nandan to seek relief in the Civil Court and closed the complaint of the Nandan . Hence, the petitioner is not required for enquiry.

4. Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
