For Petitioner : Mr.P.R.Dinesh Kumar in all Crl.O.Ps For Respondent : Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz in all Crl.O.Ps Additional Public Prosecutor C O M M O N O R D E R These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed to quash the proceeding in C.C.No.386 of 2008, C.C.No.387 of 2008, C.C.No.388 of 2008, C.C.No.389 of 2008 and C.C.No.390 of 2008 respectively in Crime No.4 of 2007, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Chengalpet.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the trial has been commenced in these cases there are totally 45 witnesses, out of which five witnesses viz., PW1 to PW5 have been examined before the trial Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings at this stage. However, considering the fact that the cases are of the year 2008, the trial court is directed to complete the trial within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

4. With the above direction, these Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed.
