ORDER
Seeking a direction to the respondent to register the case on the complaint dated 9-3-2015 in accordance with law, the petitioner has come up with this petition.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent. P.N.PRAKASH,J

3. According to the petitioner, he has title deeds of his property, which were lost on 27.02.2015 and that he has made a complaint on 09.03.2015 to the respondent police to trace the title deeds.
4. On a reading of the complaint, no direction for registration of FIR can be issued, because it does not cover any cognizable offence. If the petitioner submits an affidavit along with the certificate of the Village Administrative Officer, then the respondent police may issue a CSR and after conducting enquiry, if it is found true, a non-traceable certificate may be issued by the respondent police.
5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that in several cases, the petitioners mortgage the property and then they make a false complaint as if the document is lost and obtain a non-traceable certificate. Hence, the respondent police may also bear in mind this and act in accordance with law.
The Criminal Original Petition is closed with the above observation.
